The Witcher (TV Series)

The Witcher is an American fantasy drama web television series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix. It is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than monsters and beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a special gift, the three must learn to navigate independently the increasingly volatile Continent.

A second season was announced on November 13, 2019.

This was pretty good actually, the ending sets up season two so I'll be pissed if they don't make it.

Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) the raven haired mage is gorgeous, they don't shy away from nudity or violence so it's right up my alley.

Henry Cavill was a good choice for the Witcher, fits the character perfectly.

Overall I rate it as highly watchable if you like this type of show.

I read a lot about it when making the cover and I knew you would love it, lol - My son also watched it as he liked the games and said it's amazing! As per Wiki, there will be a season 2 and if they change their mind, my son will also be very pissed! lol

It's on my list to watch on Netflix. Hopefully it will come on disc eventually, although I doubt it.
