Starting with this screenshot from the movie, wanting the wall to rise up with a big title

Working on sharpness and light of the image, adding extra color to the orange uniforms. Cloned the wall up. The cloning looks a bit rough but it should be fine once the title comes on.

Adding more color and tried to create a hole in the wall, the exposed brick doesn't quite match but I think it'll be ok in the end.

Thank you, browsing y'alls awesome covers gives me lots of ideas and inspirations.
It's also pushing me to try and start from scratch as much as possible. But sometimes I find such cool poster
art I wanna use it for the front lol.

update:

Laying out the back. Still need to work on both the title and the quote on the front.

Color map for the back and then separately colored Vince Vaugh. Since the screenshots have to be on top of him but underneath the gradient map I had a little trouble with layer orders, I also have a layer of his shirt separately colored above the gradient map. Probably making it more difficult than it has to be with my layer orders but I was able to make sense of it by locking all of Vince's layers together haha.

quick update.

Wanted the orange color to pull through the back more so re-colored his outfit to the prison orange from the front.
Also started messing around with the text on the front.

Another update, I think it's close, might have to tweak a few little things. For instance I want to take a little
bit of the distressing off the front cover
