sorry for the delay, i have been trolling the internet to find any relevant images to add to the front that ties in with the movies. it is taking a rather long time and im not sure it is improving the original image enough so figured id see what everyone thinks. i have only added a few so far, i am still trying to find some character images that might work for little silhouettes in the desert section (just so you can imagine where im wanting to go with it).

what do you think? worth continuing or better with the original image?

I like the update, but I guess it depends on your personal preference. For me, the only issue is that the tornado looks a little cartoonish, but I still like it.

instead of the pyramids? or work some of the images round it?

my original idea was to go with the steelbook artwork but ended up going down the pyramid route instead, figured i might be able to piece something together as i am trying to figure out creating something original, but it is quite a struggle.

okay, i'll have a play around with that and see what i can come up with.

So I spent quite a while playing around with the key image but I couldnt figure a way of implementing it into the image. I have tried a few other random things since then, I tried a few different images, the best of which I have included:

I keep ending up going back to the original image I had, im not sure why but I assume it's just my nature to go with a simpler image as it is what I tend to prefer. I ended up removing the tornado and blimp and still think I prefer it to the other one.

Maybe a second opinion is required though as i still feel i should add something but everything i try doesnt really improve the cover, I'm a little at a loss on this one.

Ok, first off this is fresh and quite cool, I think a slightly lighter more sand color might push this over the top. But I really like it still.

Do not despair Nick. You didn't chose the easiest design for this one, but it is very nice and original. Like you, I prefer a simpler image but what CT has done is real nice as well. Go with what you like.

ah okay, i see. i was treating it as a separate image, i never thought of merging the images together. that looks much better.

thanks. i did a lighter version, not sure if you were meaning this light but i do think it makes it look a bit more worn down:

what does everyone think? i think the design my be finally done, just have to decide on lightness.
